ATTENDING BOARD MEETINGS REMOTELY via iPHONE, iPAD OR ANDROID
HOW TO USE ZOOM
1: DOWNLOAD & INSTALL THE APP
Via an iphone or ipad:
If you plan to attend meetings via an iphone or ipad: Open a browser window on the iphone or ipad you will be attending the meeting on, then CLICK HERE (or the "Download Zoom Client" button, beneath the Apple logo) to go to the appropriate web page. When you've arrived, click “download” underneath where it says "Zoom Client Plugin for Sharing iPhone/iPad" to install the Zoom app on your device.
Via an Android phone:
If you plan to attend the meeting via an Android phone: Open a browser window on the Android phone you will be attending the meeting on, then CLICK HERE (or the Download Zoom Client" button, beneath the Android logo) to go to the appropriate web page. Locate where it says "Zoom Mobile Apps" and either enter your phone number to have the link texted to you or download it from one of the two supplied links (App Store or Google Play).
Having the app pre-installed on your device will ensure quick and easy joining in the future.
2: REGISTER FOR THE MEETING
You can't attend a meeting if you don't register. To register to attend a meeting electronically, click the “REGISTER” link found in the pinned “Board Meeting” notification on the News tab of the website. Alternatively, you may have received an email invitation, in which case you will click the link supplied in the invitation.
Once you’ve clicked to register the meeting, you must fill out and submit the registration. You will be screened for approval (to make sure you’re a member!) and will be either approved or denied admission—please note this may take up to a week, depending on scheduling and how many registrants there are.
Once Association staff have approved your submission, you will receive a notification information you of your approval, and providing you with the link to join the meeting.
