This is a friendly reminder that pets must be leashed. Some people have a fear of dogs. We want to make sure they feel safe and can enjoy the community just as much as dogs and their owners can.

Also, members are required to pick up and dispose of their dog's waste. Not only can other people step in it, but it is an issue for the groundskeeping equipment as well. It gets inside the equipment (which is hard to clean and costly to repair) and can be projected from the equipment onto the staff.

Section 1EI of the Rules & Regulations states: "While on Community Property, pets are required to be on leash at all times. Pets not on a leash can be removed from community property at the owner’s expense and are subject to fine."

Section 1EIII of the Rules & Regulations states: "Members are required to “clean up” after their pets."

Section 1EVI states: "All pets must be under the control of the owner when off of personal private property."

Also, remember to protect your dog in both high and low temperatures!

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
